4 Ways to be Yourself

My sister gave me a beautiful necklace as a gift.  She admitted that the words on the box swayed her purchase.  It read “There is no better gift you can give the world then to be the person you dream you can be.”  Inspiring words, but how do you do that? How do you release the real you?  Here are some ideas:

1.  Acknowledge that your secret desires of who you can be are the Universe’s way of knocking on your heart, offering to open the door to the potential inside of you.

2.  Remember that you are unique.  Divinity gave you a special talent that only you can manifest.  It is your life purpose to develop that potential.

3.  Visualize yourself the way you desire to be.  What would that look like? What would it feel like? How would you act?  Spend time examining those visions until you feel comfortable with them.

4.  Act as though you already were that person.  Because you are!  It’s inside, waiting to be manifested on the outside. It’s as simple as BEING.

It may seem like an overwhelming transformation,  but the journey starts with a single step.

Last night I was thinking to myself how much I would love to create a website dedicated to healthy lifestyle and practice of yoga (I am a certified yoga instructor in NYC).. the name MindBodySpirit quickly came to mind. Today I went online and Voila! – I discovered your website! What can I say, great minds think alike! 🙂 And, great minds realize the undeniable mind, body and spirit connection. I enjoyed reading some of your blogs and some articles in the Latest Studies and Research Section. I was especially pleased with “4 Ways to be Yourself”. Many people struggle to find their true path in life and are torn between what they think they need to do and what they really want to do.. Listening to your heart and making life choices from the heart is really the key.
I made my choice when I left Corporate America in order to pursue my passion and dream of teaching yoga. There is something very powerful and gratifying about helping people discover their inner strength and peace, and helping them improve their lives..
I feel very fortunate to have discovered my life purpose and I am thrilled and excited to see where the journey takes me.
